Tackling health inequalities

HealthFreedom Community Interest Company (CIC) exists to tackle health inequalities across South London. It raises money to help reduce health inequalities in the area. It does this by running a society lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust to develop local interventions.

We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invests these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

This grant making trust funds local people who have great ideas about how they can make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

Funding raised so far by HealthFreedom CIC

Working with HealthFreedom, People's Health Trust has made grants to local groups totalling £1,523,199.

Women of Wandsworth

Women of Wandsworth were awarded £14,470 to continue the delivery of an existing Trust funded initiative which delivers intergenerational activities for people without extended families. It will bring together elderly residents, including those that live at Haven Lodge, a small sheltered accommodation estate based in Latchmere Ward, Battersea, and young families who attend Women of Wandsworth.
